It's that time of the month again!

Please, remember to vote for my comic when you have time (once a week would be awesome, if at all possible)! Here's the voting link.

Broken hand
As you may have seen from my comments, last month I broke my hand. Badly. My fracture required surgery, which consisted in sticking two pins inside my hand, and plenty of Oxycodone + Tylenol. I was in a lot of pain, especially the first three days after surgery, but now I'm feeling much better. At the follow-up visit this week, the doctor said my hand is healing well, and he'll see me again in a couple of weeks to get the pins out and explain how to do rehab. Really looking forward to all of that, except they'll get those pins out without anesthesia!...

Anyway, I've been drawing with one hand, of course, and although I can manage penciling and inking, coloring is just too much. So, I will have to release my next pages in black and white only, until my hand heals properly. More on this later.

Current comics
As a reminder, my comics are intended for adult audiences (18+ only).
Infected Blood continues! Alex's life in prison has turned into a complete nightmare, as she finds out how cruelly inmates are treated there, while at the same time dealing with her own emotional (maybe mental) issues.
As previously pointed out, my pages will be colorless until my hand heals in full. Right before my accident, I meant to experiment a bit more with my drawings. As we are at a very delicate and dramatic point of the story, I wanted each panel to be emotionally charged, so I focused on body language, facial expressions and backgrounds (to show the squalor of the Forge). Right after that, I had no colors to support the general tone of my panels, so I decided to work harder on the inks, creating strong contrasts and shadows. I have to say that this is my favorite art, so far. I hope you enjoy it, too!

Upcoming comics/projects
Remember my humorous comic? It's almost ready to go! It's called Saint Suspicious and can be found at this link. Come back again on 12 November, when the fun begins!

And... the collaboration with the cool artist I mentioned last month is still on! Keep checking my newsletters for more info!

That's all for this month. As always, you may contact me by email at infectedbloodcomics@gmail.com.
